We really enjoyed this and we discovered that we need a flat surface for the leaf rubbing to work best. We are going to try this again next week using what we have found out and see if it works better.<\/li>\n<li>This week we wrote descriptions of Mr Fox and did some free writing explaining what we liked best about the book.<\/li>\n<li>Everyone has worked very hard in our numeracy, learning about place value. We can split 2 and 3 digit numbers up into their hundreds, tens and ones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Green for Growth<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Next week we are going to test out our leaf rubbing experiment again.<\/li>\n<li>We are going to work on looking after our belongings in the classroom and keeping our snack safe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our lead learners this week are:<\/p>\n<p>Lucas Y and Lucas M for being responsible and always helping in the classroom when it is needed!<\/p>\n<p>Our lead learners are looking for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>People being helpful in the classroom.<\/li>\n<li>People listening to instructions.<\/li>\n<li>People looking after each others belongs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week Primary 2\/3 have worked really hard learning about place value in numeracy and have enjoyed reading Fantastic Mr Fox!
