{"id":3353,"date":"2024-05-03T14:48:08","date_gmt":"2024-05-03T13:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/?p=3353"},"modified":"2024-05-03T14:48:08","modified_gmt":"2024-05-03T13:48:08","slug":"p1-2-friday-3rd-may-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/2024\/05\/03\/p1-2-friday-3rd-may-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"P1\/2 Friday 3rd May 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have had a fantastic week in Primary 1\/2.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tickled Pink<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exploring the musical instruments was great fun &#8211; the children enjoyed playing their instrument on the beat.<\/li>\n<li>The children were really excited to do money again in maths &#8211; we were singing &#8216;Money, money, money&#8217; and then collecting coins and identifying them before ordering the coins from smallest value to biggest.<\/li>\n<li>In PE we were practising different skills including balancing, catching, throwing and dribbling. The children done really well with this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Green for Growth<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In maths we have started learning about skip counting in 2s and the link to the 2 timestable. Some children are finding it a bit tricky but they are all loving our counting by 2s song that we listen to each day.<\/li>\n<li>We were revising tally marks and bar graphs today and some children found it a bit difficult to take the information and create the bar graph.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lead Learners are Lucas M and Daisy R, well done!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Have a great long weekend!<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Wallace<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have had a fantastic week in Primary 1\/2. &nbsp; Tickled Pink Exploring the musical instruments was great fun &#8211; the children enjoyed playing their instrument on the beat.
