March 2024 Primary 5\/6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Tickled Pink<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In PE we created games for the P1\/2 class and they gave us some excellent feed back including words like fantastic and amazing.\u00a0 We were also reflective and talked about how we could improve what we offered them if we did it again.<\/li>\n<li>In HWB we learned about food labelling.\u00a0 We now understand the traffic light system and the vocabulary used in food labels.<\/li>\n<li>Some P6 and P7 pupils went to a Handball Festival at Deans Community High School and they found it really fun.<\/li>\n<li>We were delighted to learn that some of our poems were chosen to be included in a poetry book and we will now be published authors.<\/li>\n<li>Some P5-7 pupils went to Deans Community High School on Thursday to represent the school in the cluster\u00a0 football league.\u00a0 It was a really great experience and they won four games and lost two.<\/li>\n<li>We made water filters during outdoor learning\u00a0 and created a cress experiment to learn about how to undertake fair tests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Green for Growth<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We made various graphs during data handling lessons but kept forgetting to label them correctly.<\/li>\n<li>For Empathy Week we created posters and we found it really tricky to draw entwined hands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Lead Learner Update<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This week our Lead Learners were Georgia and Emma-Jo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
