{"id":3073,"date":"2023-12-01T16:21:07","date_gmt":"2023-12-01T16:21:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/?p=3073"},"modified":"2023-12-01T16:21:07","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T16:21:07","slug":"p1-2-friday-1st-december-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/2023\/12\/01\/p1-2-friday-1st-december-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"P1\/2 Friday 1st December 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have had a fantastic week in Primary 1\/2.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tickled Pink:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We loved doing a tricky word hunt in the classroom &#8211; practising reading and writing the words we have been learning.<\/li>\n<li>In maths we have been looking at number bonds and the children are becoming more confident at working out the different ways to make the different numbers.<\/li>\n<li>We enjoyed being a quality audience for the P6\/7 class assembly &#8211; it was really exciting seeing our buddies singing and sharing their learning.<\/li>\n<li>We have been practising our Nativity and it is looking fantastic! We have been using the microphones this week and trying on our costumes (very exciting!!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Green for Growth:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some children found it tricky to bounce the ball on the beat during our NYCOS music session. We will continue to practise this skill and game.<\/li>\n<li>Some children are getting a bit confused between types of weather and the seasons. We are going to be focusing more on the weather next week by keeping a weather chart record of each day.
