We enjoyed listening to the Giglets team turning the book into a song and doing the actions that went along with it.<\/li>\n<li>In PE we created an assault course and played the Floor is Lava in teams of 4. It was really hard not to touch the ground but we managed it eventually.<\/li>\n<li>Mrs de Luen taught us how to draw music notes and the difference between keeping the beat and playing the rhythm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tricky Tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For Kids Gone Wild, Rob challenged us to create a food web using string and pictures of different animals. Some of us originally thought that grass was &#8216;boring&#8217; but then we realised that it linked almost every single creature to be found in the forest.<\/li>\n<li>In literacy, we were up-levelling sentences to make them better by adding in adjectives using the description bubble.<\/li>\n<li>In art we created Zentangles which are black and white patterns drawn in a shape then we coloured in the background using only 2 colours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Learning Highlights: We took part in a Giglets Halloween story called &#8216;A Dark Night&#8217; where schools all around the country listened in.
