{"id":1432,"date":"2022-01-28T13:16:06","date_gmt":"2022-01-28T13:16:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/?p=1432"},"modified":"2022-01-28T13:16:06","modified_gmt":"2022-01-28T13:16:06","slug":"primary-2-3-28th-january-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/2022\/01\/28\/primary-2-3-28th-january-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Primary 2\/3 &#8211; 28th January 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Learning Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We&#8217;ve been doing some more work on patterns and number sequences, creating our own outdoors with natural materials and we&#8217;re more confident about this now.<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve been developing our descriptive writing skills by writing about the Loch Ness monster.<\/li>\n<li>We learned about onomatopoeia and had fun thinking about words to use for various situations.<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve been learning about the hip hop style of music and comparing different songs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tricky Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some of the class found IDL tricky this week but we&#8217;ll keep working on this in class and perhaps the children can try at home too.\u00a0 (Passwords are in Homework Diaries).<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve found some of the work we&#8217;ve been doing on times tables tricky.<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve been creating menus for different occasions and it was tricky to think of the different items we could include in them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Lead Learner Update<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our Lead Learners this week were Archie and Kyle and they did a great job of spotting lots of pupils in the class who were listening to the playground supervisors, using capital letters correctly and keeping our work areas tidy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Learning Highlights We&#8217;ve been doing some more work on patterns and number sequences, creating our own outdoors with natural materials and we&#8217;re more confident about this now.
