Today in the Pink Class we were shocked to find that some of our Arctic animals were stuck in the ice! How were we going to rescue them? We had some really good ideas – use a hairdryer? smash with a hammer? smash on the ground? blow the ice to make it melt? We investigated our ideas! Did we manage to free them? Yes!!
The Orange Class and their families had super fun at Children in Need. They Orange Class loved the Pudsey Hoopla and the Pudsey Bowls and so did Victor’s little brother.
Icing the biscuits was another firm favourite as was playing with Pudsey on the iPads.
Great fun was had by all. Thanks to parents and families for coming along and joining in!
Secondary groups have made an excellent start to their new woodwork project – they’ve been practising the skills they’ll need to make a chalkboard sign.
Secondary pupils had a very poignant assembly, remembering the soldiers who fought for our country. They all designed their own poppies, and at assembly, put them together to create a giant poppy, which we’ll display at the front of the school. Well done to Mary for leading the remembrance prayer and too all the pupils who made the lovely artwork.
