On this page you will discover events which will pop up – These are planned but occasionally spontaneously it will depend on suggestions made from children’s interest or ideas which are more commonly marked in our calendar.

So far this year we have planned some exciting learning experiences for your child. These include

February 7th 2022 – February 18th 2022 – Children’s Mental Health Week

February 28th 2022 – Fairtrade Fortnight – children will be looking for this logo and what it means. Also UNCRC Article 24 will be investigated further as children learn they have the right to the best health care possible for them.

March

March 1st 2022 – Shrove Tuesday: make your own pancake

March 8th 2022 @ 2pm – Nursery Natter – All parent’s welcome.

This is an opportunity for you to get to know each other and to meet our staff too. It is just a short time where we ‘natter’, hear about what is happening, ask any questions…. It’s really up to you what you want from this time. On offer this month is a welcome cup of tea/coffee with your favourite chocolate biscuit. Hopefully this will be outdoors in the garden but if not we can still link up and share a cup of tea.

March 10th 2022 @ 11:00 – Dog Trust – Staff from the local dog trust are visiting nursery and school on this day

March 16th 2022 – Tree Planting – All children from both primary school and nursery are invited to grow our own woods. Wellies are probably best worn on this day – don’t worry we have some spare wellies.
