We have had a short but busy week. Lots of boys and girls have been collecting more ticks for their listening charts and more tokens have been given out.
Deron says we were excited to get our new reading books and will be using our flashcards to help us learn the words. Lilly M says we are excellent readers!
Lily McD liked when we were writing about a journey we have made.
Adam liked it when we were doing number work. We had to remember what the number looked like using resources, in words and also what it looked like in numbers. It was great fun.
Some of us went to the Halloween Party and enjoyed getting dressed up and playing the party games.
We look forward to next weeks fun.
Primary 2

We hope everyone has a good holiday and stays safe.
From Primary 2
We have enjoyed learning more about our emotions and have been focusing on ‘joy’. We have also talked about ways we calm down when we get too excited.
We have been reading the ‘Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’. In the story there is a little Barn Owl called Plop who meets people to find out about the dark so he won’t be scared any more. We have made some chalk pictures with fireworks to show ‘dark is exciting’.
We enjoyed our masterclasses last week where we were learning about different cities around the world.
We are still learning about time and can write and read o’clock and half past on clocks with two hands. We are exploring digital clocks too.
Our favourites:
Cody-Leigh says her favourite was writing about how to calm down.
Emily’s favourite was the owl painting picture.
Lily McD says her favourite was writing about her feelings.
