Congratulations to Abbie Heaney who entered the Kinder Egg Story Maker competition and won with in her age category. This is Abbie standing with her wonderful story that she wrote and published as part of her prize. Abbie was allowed to choose the characters in her story and make up an imaginative piece of writing to go with the pictures.

Well done Abbie!

Miss Moir and the staff and pupils of Murrayfield are very proud of you.

Congratulations to the Euro Quiz team who competed in the Euro Quiz on Friday 6th February. They did fantastically well representing Murrayfield and came 19th out of 26 schools. Well done Eva, Hannah, Emma P Jacob 🙂

P6 have had a great week filled with learning about coordinates, landmarks of European countries and having a fantastic time at the P6/7 Ceilidh at St Kents. The children did lots of different dances and had lots of fun. They also did well representing Murrayfield. Well done boys and girls.

P6 will be taking part in their first Champions in School lesson this week and the boys and girls are very excited.

Champions in School is a programme which promotes succes through goals and achievements made by individuals in the class. This programme will be led by a local sports person who will tell the children about their own achievements and success through their career. The children will take part in activites and learn that through hard work and determination you can reach your dreams and goals.

The children will take part in 3 lessons, the first starting tomorrow 🙂

The children are very exciting and looking forward to meeting their champion.
