As you know, Friday was my last day at Mid Calder, for now, while I go on a secondment. I just wanted to thank our whole school community for their kinds words, cards, messages and gifts – I am overwhelmed by your generosity.

A big thank you to our staff and children for my leaving assembly, which had me hysterically laughing and crying all at once. It always surprises me how well our children know me!

As I said when I first found out I was leaving, our memories are our greatest treasure and, for me, my greatest memories during my time at MCPS are of your children. We have had so many positive experiences and I hope that I have supported them to ‘believe, achieve and succeed’ and make memories that they will remember in years to come. I made the video below to share some of my happiest memories with them.
