Well done to all who walked with the School on Saturday. Some grooovy outfits! It was a great day, very hot but great turn out.
Today P2b shared their fantastic learning about their recent Minibeast project.
Some amazing stories, dancing, singing, drama and artwork.
Well done P2b.
The annual George Allan Football tournament took place on Sunday the 21st of May. Our Linlithgow Tigers managed to win all but one game giving them a chance at the title in the final against Linlithgow Bridge Primary. Linlithgow Bridge stole a goal and despite all efforts the Tigers could just not equalise. It was a valiant effort by all. Well done Tigers. If you want to watch the highlights of the game please follow link below.
In the other League our Leopards dominated many games but were unable to secure a victory over Springfield, narrowly missing out a spot in the final.
Well done to both teams. They are now preparing for the next local competition which will be the Round Table Football Festival on the 4th of June which will take place at the Leisure Centre on the new 3G astro turf pitch.
Stuart House group pupils all enjoyed a fantastic inflatables session yesterday as a reward for being the winning House last Term.
Primary 2b have been learning about different minibeasts. Yesterday they were finding out all about bees. They found out lots of interesting facts about bees and how important they are. Today Mr Taylor brought in a Bee suit and gloves that a bee keeper would use to check a hive.
There were lots of unanswered questions that they still need to find out. – How fast can Bees fly? Do Bees sleep? What do Bees eat in the Winter? Does all honey taste the same?
