Good morning

Morning boys and girls!
Hope you’re all keeping safe and well. At the weekend Miss Wallace accidentally broke her bird feeder in her garden! The birds kept coming to visit my garden to find some food and they were wondering where it had gone!
So I decided to make one out of a milk carton. It was super easy to make and thought I would share it with you in case you have some bird seeds spare! Let me know how you get on! Miss Wallace X

Morning nursery!

Hi boys and girls I hope you are all well and keeping yourselves safe. Mrs Cairns is really missing you all and I am missing all my friends too, so I decided to draw a picture of my friends do you recognise them? I also decided to draw a picture of my family as we have being having lots of fun playing games and watching films together in lockdown. I wonder if you could draw a picture of your friends and family.
I would love to see them, happy drawing love Mrs Cairns ❤️🌈

Good morning!!

Good morning boys and girls I hope you are all well and having lots of fun with your families. Outside the nursery garden (attached to the fence nearest the entrance) there is a lockdown caterpillar who is asking us to decorate a stone and add it to him. I have added my stone which I decorated with a love heart and wrote my name on. Maybe you could go and add a stone to the caterpillar and see how long we can make him. Have fun!! Mrs Cringean xx

Good morning!!

As the weather has been so warm recently I wondered if you would like to help water the plants. This is one of our favourite things to do in our Nursery garden when the weather is warm. If you find any flowers in your garden or on your walk today why not take a picture of you giving them a big drink of water. If you don’t have a watering can at home you can use the helpful link below and ask an adult to help you make one. It’s super easy, lots of fun and helps the environment by watering the thirsty plants to help them grow. Hope you are all well and enjoying the sun ! From Miss Moore

Good morning!!

Good morning boys and girls!
This week I went a cycle along the canal and made some new friends! I met 2 beautiful horses and a mummy and daddy swan with their signets. I also saw some sheep, lambs and some cows too!
I was wondering if you are out a walk this week if you could have a look for me and see what animals you could find! There’s also lots of beasties and bugs around just now so keep your eyes peeled for them too!

Good Morning

Hello boys and girls. I’ve added a link to a time capsule workbook that I thought might be a fun way to record whats going on in these strange times. You will probably need a grown up to help you and maybe some of your siblings might enjoy this activity too. If you don’t have access to a printer, perhaps you could make up your own version of the time capsule! Have a great day! Miss Matthews x

Morning Nursery!!

Good morning boys and girls I have been busy this week building a den in the woods with my big boy Kyle. We had to look for lots of sticks to start with. I wonder if you could build a den in your house even? You could use sheets, blankets, pegs and maybe even a table or chair.  I can’t wait to see some of your designs.

Good Morning Nursery!!

Good Morning boys and girls. Yesterday I went to visit some very important people at Bield House which is a retirement home that we have a link with. Please remember to post any pictures of visits to see the elderly or pictures you draw as an achievement from home on Learners Journals so all the ladies can see them. If you would like to send some pictures to Bield House the postal address is…

Remember to stick to the social distancing rules at all times just like I did and stay safe.

Good morning!!

Hi boys and girls! I miss playing with you all so much at nursery and I can’t wait till we are all together again. Today I made up a little exercise routine for you to do at home with your parents/carers. Give it a go and let me know how you get on! I would love to see pictures/videos of you doing this too. I hope you’re all keeping safe and healthy.

Good Morning

Good morning boys and girls whilst sitting in my conservatory I noticed lots of shapes all around me so I thought I would go on a shape hunt. I wonder if you have any shapes in your house? Why don’t you go and have a look.

Morning Nursery

We would love to see what your child has been learning whilst Nursery has been closed. If you would like to send us some photographs of their work that would be great for us to see. To add a photograph to the Learning Journal you go to gallery on the left hand side under your child’s photograph click on that then at top right hand side of all your child’s photos you click add photo. This then gives you the option to add up to 4 photographs at a time. We plan to share some of the work on Twitter (no children’s faces or names will be visible). If you do not want your child’s work to be posted on Twitter please reply to this message. Thanks for your continued support and we hope you have a lovely weekend in the sunshine with your families. The Nursery Ladies xx

Good Morning!!

Morning boys and girls I hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine in your gardens. As it is a little bit cloudier this morning I thought we could maybe try singing our sunshine song to get the sun to come out to play with us. Once you have sung along why don’t you try drawing lovely sunshine picture  we would love to see them (ask your parent/carer to upload it onto your Learning Journal). Take care of yourselves.
