P6\/5 have had a great first week back! We started our book study on ‘Guardians of the Wild Unicorns’ by Scottish author Lindsay Littleson. In the story Lewis and his best friend Rhona are on a P7 residential trip in the North of Scotland. Lewis gets lost in the moorlands after an argument with Rhona and he believes he spots a unicorn but he is too afraid to tell Rhona incase she thinks he has gone mad!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had some hot seating where the children pretended to be the main character Lewis and others asked questions about Lewis’ character and some of the questionable decisions he has made throughout the first few chapters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also used technology to create images using AI, powerpoints and coding on the mciro:bits to predict what we thought would happen in the next chapter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
