P7 and P6 visited Dynamic Earth on Wednesday, during British Science Week. We were there to attend a careers showcase where we found out about different jobs involving STEM. We did VR mechanics and welding with Edinburgh college, we used ultrasound to examine what happens inside our mouth when we speak, we learned about nature and different types of rock found in Scotland. We were also lucky enough to have 2 visits to the planetarium where we travelled through the solar system and learned about how scientists photograph distant stars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
