As part of British Science week we have been making posters for a national competition . The theme this year is ‘What makes children’s lives positive?’ We discussed what makes us happy and feel good in our lives. We had some lovely responses, like family, friends, being outside in nature, animals, playing with friends etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also made a web ecosystem, which was way more fun than it sounds! We each had a random animal, plant or source of food that can be found in our local environment. We had to choose another animal\/plant\/food source that we had a connection with and throw the ball of string to them. We very quickly saw how all the different parts of an ecosystem are connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
