It has been a pleasure to have our first Celebration Assembly of the school year and what a talent bunch of learners we have here at Longridge Primary.

First up were our very special Head Teacher Awards, these children were nominated by their class teachers to receive awards and were invited enjoy a hot chocolate with Mr McNaughton & Mrs Murray.

Next we had our wider achievement awards. Thank you to the parents and carers who completed the form to let us know about these wonderful achievements, we had awards for effort and achievement in horse riding, dancing, swimming and football as well as talents in music amongst other amazing achievements!

Next our golden coins were awarded to two learners. Our P6 learner was awarded this for promoting a love for reading and our P2 learner was awarded this for progress in writing! They enjoyed spending their golden on a book of their choice at our vending machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally our monthly Languagenut Champions were awarded their certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
