Learners will read and write descriptive pieces this term. This week the children wrote their \u2018cold piece,\u2019 (a chance to demonstrate what they know already about writing descriptions). This is a great way to identify strengths and areas for improvement and to track progress over the next few weeks. The children are looking forward to \u2018bumping up\u2019 their work as they learn how to include more descriptive words and phrases in their pieces.
