One of the highlights in P3 this week was science with Mrs Fraser.\u00a0 We are learning about germs and have pressed our fingers into pieces of bread and sealed them in bags.\u00a0 The bags of bread have been left sitting at room temperature and next week we will look at them to see how many germs have appeared.\u00a0 We also enjoyed watching a cartoon clip about germs.<\/p>\n

In maths we were faced with the problem of choosing a new kit for a football team.\u00a0 We had to use pictures and lists to help us work out how many different colour options there were.\u00a0 It was quite tricky but we enjoyed the challenge and look forward to continuing to develop our understanding of using lists and pictures to solve problems next week.<\/p>\n

On Friday a lady called Roz came to talk at assembly and we learned about how difficult it is for children with leprosy to do everyday tasks.\u00a0 We are looking forward to taking part in a workout to raise funds for the charity Lepra so they can help even more children.\u00a0 We hope you can all donate a small amount to help us with this.<\/p>\n

In P.E. we have been looking at developing skills and techniques which we can use to improve our fitness levels.\u00a0 Jarrad said his highlight of the week was doing shuttle runs in gym.\u00a0 We also practised star jumps, lunges, squats and step ups.\u00a0 I wonder what activities next week will bring!<\/p>\n

This week we have begun to think about what ‘diversity’ means and we will continue to develop our understanding of this over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
