The children in P1K have settled in well. Most can walk into school independently and are beginning to organise their belongings. I am so impressed, as many of the children have taken this in their stride and can manage things like: hanging up their coat, changing shoes, putting their water bottle away, snack in tray and bag in bag box, and even order a lunch, phew! We learned our first sound this week which was m<\/span> and tricky word I<\/span>. We also explored number 5<\/span> by counting, sorting, building and printing. The children enjoyed some play time in the garden. During PE they did Yoga and played toilet tig and disappearing dots. Highlights<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

K – my favourite part is playing in the sand<\/p>\n

J \u2013 my favourite part was making ladybirds on the leaf, I made 5<\/p>\n

Ch \u2013 I have enjoyed playing outside, I like playing out with Poppy, Lewis and Solomia<\/p>\n

L \u2013 building a car<\/p>\n

Su \u2013 playing lego<\/p>\n

Au \u2013 playing in the kitchen<\/p>\n

Al \u2013 running about outside<\/p>\n

So \u2013 I like playground tig<\/p>\n

H \u2013 playing with the building blocks<\/p>\n

Chr \u2013 painting<\/p>\n

P \u2013 learning the m sound<\/p>\n

N\u2013 playing the dinosaurs<\/p>\n

Sus \u2013 building a car<\/p>\n

Challenges<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

K – It was difficult to cut with scissors<\/p>\n

J – to put the things on the back with the apron<\/p>\n

Ch – sitting down and missing my baby sister<\/p>\n

L -opening my packet at snack time<\/p>\n

Au – trying to cut out the mouse shapes<\/p>\n
