What a busy few weeks Primary 2 have had since returning after the Easter holidays!<\/p>\n
In maths we have been exploring multiplication using lots of practical materials.\u00a0 We also had our PATPAL afternoon where the children became the teachers for the day!\u00a0 They did an amazing job explaining what we do in numeracy.\u00a0 Thank you to all the parents who came along and supported us.<\/p>\n
In PE we have been developing our skills in tennis and we also enjoyed a session of outdoor games in the playground.\u00a0 Last week we took part in the school\u2019s SportaFUNd event and had a great time participating in all the fun activities.<\/p>\n
In literacy we have been learning about the difference between statements and questions and have begun to learn about exclamation marks.\u00a0 We also started to look at typography and why authors use different types of print in their texts.<\/p>\n
In health and wellbeing we have begun to consider the question ‘What does being healthy mean?’.\u00a0 We had some great discussion about why exercise is importance and the types of exercise we do to keep fit and healthy.<\/p>\n
