Good afternoon. P1 have had a busy week. In Literacy we learned the sounds t, i and n. We also learned the red words me and the. We taught ted how to write the sounds, played i-spy, created tigers and nests, iced a biscuit with the letter i. In writing we drew a picture showing what makes us happy.<\/p>\n
In Numeracy we have been exploring the numbers 6,7 and 8. We have gone on adventures with these numbers, made them using playdough, explored the numbers using cubes and Numicon, drew pictures of 6, 7 and 8 and played the 8 or not 8 game.<\/p>\n
We have been busy building, playing with the dinosaurs, playing with the cars and our playdough. On Wednesday afternoon with Mrs Smith we explored our map more and looked at labelling our map. We also explored using the Beebots. On Thursday afternoon we got to see Oliver Twist in the hall. We got to sit at the back on the benches next to our P7 buddies.<\/p>\n

Charlie: \u201cI enjoyed Oliver Twist. Oliver was my favourite character.\u201d<\/p>\n
