In literacy, our sounds focus was o-e and u-e. The children all enjoyed listening for different sounds and making sound stories during outdoor learning.\u00a0 The children were excited to see that most of the sunflowers have started to grow! Please see below for the children\u2019s reflection comments.<\/p>\n<p>Elyas \u2013We were measuring using cubes the table was 50 cubes long.<\/p>\n<p>Oliver \u2013 This week I enjoyed measuring.\u00a0 We measured the table, bookshelves and chairs using hand spans. The bookshelf was the longest and the chair was the shortest.<\/p>\n<p>Jessica \u2013 I liked learning the o-e sound it\u2019s a split digraph with an o and an e. Bone has the o-e sound.<\/p>\n<p>Rhy-Lee &#8211; I measured my lunch box using cubes it was shorter than the table.<\/p>\n<p>Caleb \u2013 We learned the split up o-e sound.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia \u2013 We learned o-e and u-e sound this week, phone has the o-e sound and huge has the u-e sound.<\/p>\n<p>Kyra \u2013 We listened to sounds for mindfulness listening in class. I heard people talking and laughing.<\/p>\n<p>Kaylan \u2013 I heard the birds in the woods.<\/p>\n<p>Josh \u2013 We measured using hand span the bookshelf is seven hand-spans long.<\/p>\n<p>Grace \u2013 I enjoyed outdoor learning.\u00a0 My favourite sound was the holly leaf.\u00a0 When I was flapping it, it made a loud and soft sound.<\/p>\n<p>Kade &#8211; I enjoyed outdoor learning we were doing sounds. \u00a0I made a banging sound with sticks.<\/p>\n<p>Jack \u2013 I measured the table it was 16 hand-spans long.<\/p>\n<p>Louis \u2013 I enjoyed measuring Kade, he is 54 cubes tall.<\/p>\n<p>Mohnish \u2013 I enjoyed measuring. \u00a0I measured the table it 16 hand spans.<\/p>\n<p>Minny \u2013 I enjoyed measuring.\u00a0 The bookshelf is 51cubes tall.<\/p>\n<p>Ella \u2013 I liked the listening activity. We had to listen to the bell ringing and put up our hand when it stopped. \u00a0I am really good at hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Izaan \u2013 I liked when we played toilet tig outside.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander \u2013 We were doing outdoor learning. We were trying to make a noise.<\/p>\n<p>Olivia \u2013 I enjoyed outdoor learning. Me and Kyra found big branches from the pine tree.
