{"id":11657,"date":"2020-03-06T12:37:04","date_gmt":"2020-03-06T12:37:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/livingstonvillageprimaryschool\/?p=11657"},"modified":"2020-03-06T12:37:04","modified_gmt":"2020-03-06T12:37:04","slug":"p1-weekly-reflection-06-03-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/livingstonvillageprimaryschool\/2020\/03\/06\/p1-weekly-reflection-06-03-20\/","title":{"rendered":"P1 Weekly Reflection 06.03.20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well what a \u2018booktastic\u2019 week we\u2019ve had to launch our first ever Book Month and celebrate World Book Day.\u00a0 On Tuesday we watched the 10<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary Authors Live&#8217;s show.\u00a0 Michael Rosen was very funny and we were amazed by how quickly Tanya Roberts could illustrate what he was saying!<\/p>\n<p>Click on the link below to see\u00a0some familiar faces!\u00a0 Our part in the film was supposed to be part of the Live Show but Michael Rosen went off script and spoke for too lang and they had to cut short the film which meant our school clip wasn&#8217;t shown.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/events\/e3vwxj\/play\/a9dfzc\/p085jmkn\">https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/events\/e3vwxj\/play\/a9dfzc\/p085jmkn<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day by Dropping Everything and Reading on three separate occasions throughout the day, the children loved this!\u00a0 We made some bookmarks and enjoyed listening to Mrs Sansom sharing a story with us.\u00a0 The children talked about their favourite stories and who they like to share them with.<\/p>\n<p>Today we have enjoyed our \u2018Share a Story\u2018 assembly and Mad Hatter\u2019s Tea Party.\u00a0 It was really fun sharing our stories and Mrs Clyne read the story of Alice in Wonderland while we drank our milk.<\/p>\n<p>In between all our book fun we have learnt the sounds <em>a-e <\/em>and <em>i-e<\/em> and the tricky words one and anyone.\u00a0 In maths, we continued with our numbers bonds and learnt about halves and quarters.\u00a0 Here are some of the children\u2019s comments:<\/p>\n<p>GG \u201cI liked learning our new sound a-e and i-e.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>RC \u201cI liked the same as Georgie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PP \u201cI liked the assembly when we were all dressed up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>SS \u201cI Ioved the tea party\u201d<\/p>\n<p>EW \u201cI liked it when we had the assembly.\u00a0 Mrs Mill was scary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PW \u201cI liked eating the food at the party.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AH \u201cMy favourite part was eating the cupcakes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>IG \u201cMy favourite thing was everything we did this week.
