{"id":11578,"date":"2020-01-17T16:03:12","date_gmt":"2020-01-17T16:03:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/livingstonvillageprimaryschool\/?p=11578"},"modified":"2020-01-17T16:03:12","modified_gmt":"2020-01-17T16:03:12","slug":"p3-learning-this-week-17-01-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/livingstonvillageprimaryschool\/2020\/01\/17\/p3-learning-this-week-17-01-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"P3 learning this week &#8211; 17\/01\/2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome back Primary 3 and a Happy New Year!<\/p>\n<p>Apologies for not posting anything last week.<\/p>\n<p>This week Primary 3 have been learning :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Writing &#8211; A procedural piece of work linked to the Scottish focus &#8211; &#8216;How to make shortbread.&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Languages &#8211; Matching Scots, Polish and French words to English words.<\/li>\n<li>Maths &#8211; Money this week, more focus on giving change and repeating coins\/times tables with money &#8211; e.g. &#8211; 5x20p = 100p or \u00a31.<\/li>\n<li>P.E. &#8211; Gymnastics &#8211; Making different shapes with our bodies and doing a rocket jump, adding 1\/4 and 1\/2 turns and beginning to make a sequence with them with a partner.<\/li>\n<li>H&amp;WB &#8211; We discussed similarities and differences with pupils families, understanding that we are all different.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>E &#8211; I liked learning about multiplying values of coins this week in Maths.<\/p>\n<p>C &#8211; I enjoyed writing in my learning logs this week.<\/p>\n<p>H &#8211; I enjoyed gymnastics this week and doing the rocket jump.<\/p>\n<p>R &#8211; I enjoyed my reading this week because I like pirate books.<\/p>\n<p>C &#8211; I enjoyed gymnastics this week and working on shapes with my body.<\/p>\n<p>A &#8211; I enjoyed doing different routines in gymnastics this week.<\/p>\n<p>I have also included the window into learning for term 3 for you all.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Love<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/public\/livingstonvillageprimaryschool\/uploads\/sites\/65\/2020\/01\/17160306\/Window-into-Learning-term-3.pdf\">Window-into-Learning, term 3<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome back Primary 3 and a Happy New Year!
