Hope you had a lovely long weekend. Although it was a short week P1 have worked very hard. In Literacy we have learned the vowel diagraph oo. We brainstormed and made lots of different words with the oo sound on our magnetic boards. We taught ted how to write oo words such as zoo. In numeracy we continued to explore fair sharing by playing a game called make it fair and having a teddy bears picnic. We also learned what a half is by using paper. In P.E on Wednesday we played different games such as traffic lights. It was good to run around. We had our star of the week circle time and our new star of the week is Euan. In music we listened to a lullaby and then had fun finding the beat and keeping it in different ways such as clicking our fingers. On Thursday afternoon we listened to a story about Katie Morag and discovered that she lived on the Isle of Struay which can be found on a map of Scotland as the isle of Coll.
