The children have continued to enjoy hunting for minibeasts in the nursery garden.  They have found a variety of bugs, and we have been learning their names, discussing their size and counting legs and spots.  Indoors we have been playing mini beast board games and using small world toys to practice our counting,  subitising, matching and sorting abilities.

The children have been using the floorbook to share their thoughts, ideas and drawings.  We would love for you to have a look through this and share any of your own thoughts and ideas with us.

Our transition visits to school have started this week and the children have thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Primary 1 classroom and school playground at Harrysmuir Primary.
