In literacy this week, we have been looking closely at adjectives and how they can make our writing better. We had great fun thinking about how we describe how different foods look, smell, taste, feel and sound. Miss Stevens was so impressed with some of the amazing words that we thought up.
We then applied our skills into a beautiful piece of writing for our topic (France). We imagined we were at the Arc de Triomphe and wrote about what we could see and hear.
We also got our laptops out for ICT, to begin researching interesting facts about France and some famous French landmarks.
Steven Turnball came into visit us during the week for a mindfulness workshop. We learnt all about how our body can react when we are angry and different strategies we can use to control these.
This afternoon we all enjoyed a little trip to the Macmillan coffee morning, helping to raise money for a great cause.
Hope you have a lovely weekend and see you next week for parents evenings 🙂
