This week has been a busy week with loads of activities.  We have been practising our letters ‘m’ and ‘c in a variety of ways.  Also, we introduced two new letters  ‘s’ and ‘p’ which the children seemed to enjoy.

 

In maths, we went outdoors for outdoor learning with P2/1 which we used cards to go find natural materials and make them into shapes or draw them.  Also used our counting skills in this activity.

Also, we had a visitor (Mrs McNeil) and the children asked questions about her job and how she used maths within it to help her.  We have been learning all about the numbers 2, 3 and 4 this week.  It included counting objects and learning how to form these numbers.
