After a week of full days, the Primary 1’s are settling into the routine very well.   It has been very busy.  They have had many experiences this week.

 

We have been learning to write our names using different materials. Look at some of the children’s work.

Also they have been learning to sort objects and pictures into big and small. Primary 1 have really enjoyed these activities throughout the week.

We have also been outside to start outdoor learning which involved going on a colour hunt.  We found many objects in the playground and stuck them onto a “colour wheel”. Primary 1 have been learning about Our Rights and Actions.  The children were enthusiastic in giving their thoughts about their rights.

Today the Primary 7 buddies came to class for a visit. They were working together to fill out their buddy booklet and helping us with our numbers.
