This week we have been very busy and working very hard. We have begun a book study on “The Adventures of the Wishing Chair” by Enid Blyton and even made our very own wishing chairs. Here are just a few examples of them.
We also started to look at how the author uses adjectives to describe a character, which helps us imagine what they look like. We have been trying to think of interesting adjectives for our own characters that Mollie and Peter could encounter on their adventures. Also, we have had lots of fun using Kung Fu Punctuation to help us correctly punctuate sentences (will hopefully get pictures of this next week).
In Maths we have been consolidating our knowledge of numbers from 1-100, looking at place value and 100 squares.
We have just started French, learning the numbers 1-20. We are getting very good at them, so maybe ask us at home to help us practice!
Looking forward to another fun week in P3!
