This week in P6 we’ve been getting really into our class novel, Gone, by Michael Grant.  It’s the story of a town which suddenly finds itself cut off from the world, and in which all the inhabitants over the age of 15 have suddenly disappeared.  It’s quite a difficult book and has some really interesting themes and we’ve really enjoyed discussing it and getting into the characters and the storyline.  We’ve been writing our own stories based on the book and will be looking at character studies too.

We’ve also been starting to practise our We Go Together song and dance which we’ll be performing at a local Celebrating Success Awards Ceremony next Friday.  It will be our last chance to be up singing and dancing together in P6 so we’re looking forward to it.
