Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, and some keen to continue learning this in the club after school.

The tomatoes have been getting “mummified” for a couple of weeks. Still not quite ready yet so they changed over the salt mix to dehydrate the tomatoes further.
Sports Day
The weather was mostly dry, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed participating.

Shoebox Car Challenge
It was the final week of the preparation of the shoe-box cars for the challenge. This week the focus was on trying to get the cars to go straight and far – experimenting with wax lubrication and accurate measurement for the axles.
There were 3 challenges-
- Furthest
- Straightest
- Prettiest
The first 2 were done with a “Top Gear” style leader-board – leading to a very exciting ending to the challenges. Well done to everyone – including the P3 pupils from Dechmont who were here for the day as part of their transition.
