This week the class have been continuing our reading of ‘The Boy in the Dress’ as part of our transition topic. The class have engaged well with class discussions around the themes of the novel – well done!

The class gave a good performance of ‘Reach for the Stars’ to open the Celebrating Success assembly. The children really enjoyed watching everyone get their awards. Our P7 awards went to:

Demonstrating School Values – Leah Clark

The very first winner of the Laura Dunn Rights Respecting Award was Leah Crow – well done! The Betty Buchanan Award for P7 will be given out at the Leavers Service in June.

In Maths the class are beginning to revise key concepts from throughout the year. They are working hard to remember how to solve different calculations and problems. We will be continuing with this until the end of term.
