Its been a fun packed week in P3. They thoroughly enjoyed the P6 show of “Beauty and the Beast” – even had a great discussion about the show the next day – who their favourite character was, favourite song, and scene. Well done to P6!

The class also got an opportunity to help/or join in activities in the other infant classes doing a wide range of different things – from yoga, art to singing. It was great to get good reports from all the teachers about how great all the pupils were in their respective classes.

P3 also spent some time investigating the properties of magnets in our science afternoon. They had to investigate how they interact with each other, explore the use of compasses, and test as many things to see what was magnetic. The overall conclusion is that all things that were magnetic was made of metal – but – not all metals were magnetic! Looks like we will need to do some more scientific investigation to work out why!
