Primary 1 have been learning more about Katie Morag, her family and life on an island. We made our own compasses to show north, south, east and west and we also went outside to use a real compass to find out which way we were facing.

We had some more outdoor learning with our blending when we wrote qu and y words in chalk in the playground.
