The children have continued to work hard this week. They learned more about Castles and how they were used to defend important people and belongings. Thank you to Miss Clark for teaching the children some wonderful Castle themed lessons over the past few weeks! Next week we will be finishing off our Castles Topic, making a Wanted poster for a Knight who has stolen some very important jewels from our castle! We will also have a look at our KWL grid and the children will decide if we learned everything they said they wanted to about castles!

In Maths we are also moving on soon. P2 who have been working on subtraction will be moving on to numbers to 100. They will be reading and saying the numbers in the correct order, and thinking about the before and after number. Some of P1 will revisit addition within 20 and some will start subtracting within 10.

The children impressed Miss Clark with their Basketball skills. Next we are moving on to control of the ball with a stick and will be learning about hockey. In football, we will finish up with trying to aim for goal!

Next week, Reading books will go home on Tuesday instead of Monday.
