We are hoping to establish an outdoor learning group which will be supported and run by the Family Centre.

A group  made up of both morning and afternoon nursery children will be invited to take part in 7/8 sessions  which will provide opportunities like den building, playing in the woods, building a fire and cooking on it and will include a visit to the Family Centre’s outdoor education site at Hopetoun House. There will also be a session where parents/ carers of children involved can come along to see what the children have been doing.

This is a great opportunity for the kids and we are looking forward to taking part.

Mrs Wightman will accompany the children during each session.
