Primary 2 had a lovely week, starting with the Scottish Cup visit on Monday, and ending with a brilliant assembly for Children in Need on Friday. Many thanks to all the people who donated to the good cause, and all the children who showed their support by dressing down and wearing spots.

Last week we finished our Magic Castle topic. The class wrote lovely imaginative stories inspired by castles and fairy tale characters, and I was very impressed by the results! We also finished our money topic in maths.

Over the next two weeks, we will explore the classic children’s book The Wind in the Willows as a mini topic. In maths, we will explore shapes and patterns. We will also begin to look at persuasive writing.
