We have started a new topic in class: The Magic Castle. Over the next few weeks, we will be transforming our classroom into a magic castle. To start with, we have a Potion Shop where pupils can use play money to purchase a variety of magical items. We have just started looking at money in maths, so this will be another way to practise using coins and giving change! We also have a new water tray in the classroom, dressed up as a magic cauldron, where pupils can use measuring jugs, funnels, and cups to mix up their magic potions.

Everyone made good use of their imaginations this week, as the children wrote lovely descriptions of a spooky castle using some great describing words. We have also been learning about action words, or verbs.

It was great fun to see the children dressed up for the Halloween Disco yesterday. Please have a safe and fun weekend!
