First term is coming to an end.

We have some exciting news to share. We now have 5 people who got into step 3 of the Golden Club today and another 8 pupils who are 1 or 2 stickers away from step 3. A well done to everyone for super behaviour and trying so hard this whole term.

“I feel really happy getting into step 3” – Alanna

“I am proud of myself to get to step 3” – Holly

“I am proud of myself getting into step 3 and only have 2 more steps to go” – Steven

“I feel happy that I only have 1 more sticker to go and will be in step 3 after the October break” – Blanka

“I can not wait to get 1 more sticker to get into step 2 and get some free play” – Jack

 

More exciting news is that Joshua had a call from Celtic to play for them but he is going to stick with playing for Hearts. What a star! He has had calls from Hearts, Falkirk, Celtic and Rangers. We may see Joshua in the future on our television screen playing football. 🙂

“I feel happy because I was in the younger group in Hearts but now they have moved me into the older group because they thought I was a lot better” – Joshua

 

In numeracy we looked at shape –

“There is a 4 sided shape called a quadrilateral” – Cristian

“I learned that the 6 sided shape is called a hexagon” – Steven

“We used 2 triangles to make different shapes like pentagons, hexagons and quadrilaterals” – Lewis

“We made different shapes with triangles” – Zach

“I was ordering numbers and I thought it was fun” – Grace Sinclair

“Layla and I helped Yousef learn his colours” – Jack

 

 

In writing  –

“We wrote letters to MacMillan to tell them about our coffee morning” – Alanna

“I worked with Alanna and Robert and I thought it was fun” – Grace Beckett

“Miss Dunn is going to post the letters to MacMillan” – Callie

“I worked with Tia and liked doing the decorations on the letter” – Layla

“I helped Yousef spell words with Grace Beckett” – Allie

“I liked having my reading buddy because it is really fun reading to another person” – Maddison

“My reading buddy was Lewis and he was really good at reading his book” – Sarah

“I liked reading with my reading buddy” – Tia

 

 

We have had a very busy and exciting term in school.

 

As part of class we have the reading challenge so if anyone reads any books please remember to bring them in and record in your reading passport.
