What a busy and quick first week it has been – I can’t believe it’s over already!

We are all settling in well to our new class and our new routines.  The class pets have been thoroughly spoiled and have certainly enjoyed all the attention they have received from all their new friends – well done P5 for being such responsible pet owners!

We have been busy preparing our new Class Charter, and this is now well under way.  We promise some photos on completion!  We have started a new class novel ‘The Legend of Spud Murphy’ and have played our first games of Thunderball!

Next week, we will be doing some work on money in preparation for a visit from The Royal Bank of Scotland.  We will be taking part in a workshop run by RBS Moneysense on Monday 7th September 2016 called ‘It’s Party Time!’ which is aimed at helping us develop our budgeting skills (very important skills to have!)  We will also be practising our report writing skills and hopefully enjoying a wee bit more sunshine during our daily activity breaks.
