Well, it couldn’t have been any more exciting! The vote count on Monday revealed the result was… A draw! The top two parties were the Sparkly Unicorns and the Green Raving Beans.

Some people in class suggested working together to form a coalition government. However, Miss Zorlu and P6 decided that holding another vote would be best! The eventual winners were the GRB party, with the SU party forming the opposition.

This week we have been learning how to participate in a formal debate. Next week we will be learning how a bill becomes a law – and trying to pass some of our own (we’re hoping Miss Thomson will give her Royal Assent!)
