New Lanark Report by Morgan

On Tuesday 22^nd March 2016 P6 P6/5 and helpers and teachers went to New Lanark so we could learn more about the highland clearances.

First , P6/5 met our tour guide called Ann, she was nice.

Next Ann showed us the water fall then the mill wheel, it was cool.

Then she showed us the mill building and then we saw the wool mill. After that we saw the tenements so we could see what it was like in the 1800’s and 1900’s. Later, we went on the Annie McLeod Experience to see what she had to do. Then, it was lunch, and we played in the park. After we went to the school house and some of us put on uniforms.

Then we went home.
