Primary 3 have been very busy at home making shelters for Oscar the fox. They chose to make a shelter for either the cold Arctic, hot desert or rainy Scotland! They had to think about the materials they should use. The shelter for the Arctic should help keep Oscar warm, the shelter for the desert should give him shade and the shelter for Scotland should be waterproof to keep out the rain.
The results were fantastic, thank you to everyone at home who helped make the shelters. Here are a few pictures of the pupils explaining how they made them.
