Good morning,
I hope you are all well and are looking forward to some new activities to try.
Literacy- I have included a sentence building activity for the Crocodiles to try. Click on the PDF thumbnail and it should open to a page which will help you to practise creating sentences.
Meerkats have qu words to practise and if you are a Meerkat, Giraffe or Tiger, you can pick a few qu and squ spelling games to play and practise, by clicking the link.
Reading should be completed daily by logging into Oxford Owls. Click on the class login button at the top of the page and use the class username and password provided to access the ebooks listed for your group, on the site.
Numeracy- I have left the Daily Ten on our grid . Click the link and ask an adult to set you 10 questions by following the instructions. The questions can be on any topic, addition, subtraction , multiplication, division or fractions. It is your choice. Which strategies do you need most practise with? This is a good warm up activity to try when starting numeracy and maths each day.
Then you will click the link to watch another of Mrs Clayton’s very helpful videos. Today we will focus on making equal groups of numbers. I have included 2 worksheets which everyone can try after some practise at grouping, using objects you have in the house. You can use cut up paper shapes, lego bricks, sweets, cutlery, pencils or toys-whatever you have in the house, you can use to make groups and sets with.
I have added some French revision today. I have included a PDF which if you click on should give you a French number match up activity. Your job is to match the numbers written in French with the correct numeral.
I have also provided a link to a page of STEM challenges. Click on the link and you can choose which challenge you want to try. Try more than one if you can but ask an adult to help you.

Have fun and take care,
