This week we have been exercising quite a lot. Every day we have been participating in a 20 minute workout with the Body Coach Joe Wicks. This has taught us lots of short exercises that we can do on a daily basis. We have been working on different parts of the body as our muscles were sore after each session. After each session we have enjoyed relaxing and listening to relaxation music or getting some fresh air.

In Maths this week we have been looking at how fractions are related to decimals. We are now all able to convert tenths fractions into decimals. We have also learned about place value in relation to decimals and can relate this to our previous work on money. Next week we are going to be using the 4 operations (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) in relation to decimals.

In Literacy we are continuing to develop our storywriting skills. We are now very good at using effective openers and punctuation. We need to continue to extend our ideas to make our stories a little longer and exciting for our readers.

We have also been busy this week putting the finishing touches to our floorbooks as part of our context for learning. We have made good use of our own devices using the AAL Code of Conduct to help us with our research. Next week we will be presenting these to the rest of the class.
