This week in Primary 7 we have started to learn the parts for our assembly. We are looking forward to sharing our learning with our families and the school on Friday next week. This week we have looked at fashion through the decades and compared this with current trends. The favourites were the 1930s, 50s and 90s.
Mrs Burrows came across from the Academy to work with some of us and the rest working on inference skills. We are getting good at reading between the lines and understanding the deeper meaning of texts.
In maths we have been finishing up learning about time. Next week we are heading on to division in preparation for focusing on fractions.
At our Scots Assembly this morning we heard all the finalists of the Poetry Competition and everyone who recited their poem was fantastic. We are very proud of our Amy who won the P4-7 prize reciting To A Mouse by Robert Burns and Milissa who was our Pupil of the Week for working hard in maths. Well done!
Our football team are in action this afternoon and we have wished them good luck and are looking forward to seeing them on Monday to tell us how they did.
Have a great weekend 🙂
