Maths
This week we have been doing more practice on our 4 times table. We have been learning how to divide by 3, 4 or 8. So we know that division is a multiplication question backwards! We did some multiplication triangles to help us.
Literacy
We have been working on our free verse poems. Free verse poems do not have to rhyme and can be made up of sentences or single words. We thought about Remembrance Day to inspire us. We looked at pictures of war and wrote down what was happening and how they might be feeling in those situations. We typed them up, printed and coloured the background in. We are very happy and proud with them.
We had another visit from Mr Turnbull who is our very own Brain Coach. He is teaching us how to control emotions and our minds. He told a story to encourage us to be successful and confidence in our learning and what we can achieve. He gave us a great card to remember these things!
The Primary 5’s also did some beautiful Remembrance Day art while the Primary 6’s were practicing for their Christmas Panto. They look great!
We’ve had a few technical issues with photos but we will try and get some up of our poems and pictures next week!
Have a lovely weekend! 🙂
