Wow! What a busy week in P3. We all worked really hard all week practising for our assembly today. We hope you enjoyed it because we loved performing for everyone. We also have been hard at work organising all of our fundraising ideas. Our bake sale today was a roaring success with of money raised already! We have still soooo many yummy treats left over that we will be holding another one on Monday. So remember to bring some money if you wish to purchase some treats. A big thankyou to all who contributed to our bake sale.
In literacy we have been looking at some information writing, making posters to provide the school with information about Children in Need. We also wrote invitations for people to come to our bake sale. Miss Stevens was so impressed with the brilliant work we produced.
We have been really enjoying working with James Pegg on Mondays with the other P3 from P4/3 as well as the P3s form Dechment Infants. It has been great learning all about the things that help us to be fit and healthy. We learnt lots of interesting facts, for example, we should be drinking 2 litres of water everyday!
We are really looking forward to continuing our Children in Need fundraising next week as we begin to sell merchandise as well as run the competitions! Also don’t forget to have a little look for any round pounds that may still be at home that could be donated to Children in Need.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
